THE BANGKO Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said it has room to further hike policy rates this
year to support the peso as the US Federal Reserve is expected to continue its aggressive policy tightening.
This as the Philippine peso on Wednesday closed at a record low of P57.135 against the US dollar.
