AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION rose in the third quarter, as growth in crops, livestock, and poultry sectors offset the decline in fisheries output, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Wednesday.
Data released by the PSA showed the value of production in agriculture and fisheries at
constant 2018 prices expanded 1.8% in the July-September period. This was a reversal of the 0.6% contraction in the second quarter, and the 2.6% decline in the same quarter in 2021.
