After a record slump in 2020, the Philippine economy is slowly making its way to recovery in 2021. This recovery was also mirrored in the aggregate revenues of the country’s largest corporations, as revealed in this edition of the Top 1000 Corporations in the Philippines. Yet, as war broke out between Russia and Ukraine that caused further global supply chain disruptions and massive inflationary pressures, there are challenges ahead in the road to recovery. This edition also takes a look into those challenges affecting the economy in general, as well as sectors like energy, healthcare, property, and retail, to name a few.
